Freezing days.

I don't think I've actually done a blog for a while, so while I was making 2min noodles, I thought why not :).

My parents are away in windy Wellington, New Zeland, and I sort of miss them, but at the same time I'm really loving and enjoying living with my boyfriend. Being able to eat what we want to eat, make our own decisions. etc. Ahh well. Me and Nick were even talking about moving out last night, I got so excited! It would be awesome, but so hard at the same time...

This week has been pretty boring though. It is getting so cold, that I've pretty much been inside the house eating, or in bed sleeping. Or, going to school. I've been a little sick still though, so maybe that's the reason why I haven't been t social.. So on that matter, I havent done much shopping, so no hauls. Although, I did recieve 2 things in the mail today from ebay!! Woooo!

I got Animal Crossings (Shhh! I know it's lame, but it's a time waster :P) on Nintendo DS, and a really really pretty ring. It's a size 8 though, it's a little big but I think I like smaller ones. Maaaybe, if I ever get any followers I'll do a comp of some sort and have stuff like that as prizes! Here's the ring, it's so pretty! The 'diamond' is so BIG too! But it's just so cute!
Mmmm. Oh the other hand, my life is pretty boring, but hectic at the same time. There is a lot of procastinating going on, as theres plently of tests starting and assignments due. But Woooo! Only a month till mid semester holidays! Off for 6 weeks! Which means more work (eugh..) but more money! haha! Which reminds me, I have work tommorow too!

Better finish eating my noodles though.. They're getting cold!!

Sick?! =(

I rang in sick for work, I only work once a week, so I'm a bit depressed because I'm missing out on a whole day's worth of money..

But I've only got a cold, and an upset tummy, and I probably couldve gone. But it seems to be really contagious.. In a day, both my parents had it, three of the girls I work with caught it, and 2 friends from school has it. So I fiqured, staying home is probably my best bet.

Well, I have a little haul.. 2 items.. I went to the mall yesterday with my friend and I really wanted to buy some liquid eyeliner! But I fiqure now, I've wasted my money, I cant put it on! I need to practise!
I also bought a new masacara! Haha, I know, I'm buying mascara's so much now! But this one looked so cool, and it was purple!

To combat my boredom at home, Im shopping on ebay! I bidded on these awesome fuchia coloured high heels! And I'm watching a few items of clothing. Especially this nice furry jacket by abercrombie. This would be my abercrombie item.. They dont sell it where I live.. Hopefully I'll get them!!

Define a Lash review

Hi All!
Didn't think I'd make another blog so fast, within an hour! But I've got a review on my latest mascara, Define-A-Lash Volume by Maybelline.

Ive only got 2 other mascaras to compair it with (that you can buy at priceline, etc..). These are both by Covergirl: Lash Exact and Lash Blast.

I think that Covergirl is great at mascara, it's the only item I would buy from them, but I love their mascaras.

On the other hand, Define-A-Lash is not so great. Firstly, I find when you pull the wand out, it has a suction noise, there is a puller(?) inserted into the top of the mascara tube, so when you pull it out it takes out the excess masacara liquid. This would be all good, if only at the tip of the wand would be cleaned off too. Instead it has dangly bits of mascara on it. Not that great..
For me, it clumps somewhat, but that can be fixed with an eyelash comb. So to me, it seems too much playing around if your on the go.

Overall, not my fave, but would use it if I need to, I have had a lot worse. I find if you use this mascara use another one (such as covergirl) to go over the top and brush it. But for $14.99AUS (on special) I can't really complain.
I'd give it 6.5 stars out of 10 =)

Clothing

Black Pants
The right length and right for your body type.
Don't forget, you must feel comfy in them!

Jeans
Don't try and follow styles with jeans, that's where a lot of people go wrong.
If you are lucky, and can wear all styles and they look good and you feel great in them,
flaunt it!
Otherwise, find jeans that suit your body type and that make you feel good!
Your local jeans store should be able to measure you up for the
perfect pair!

Casual Dress
Some girls find it hard to find a dress that suits them, and their personality.
Take time choosing your dress, get some opinions from parents and friends.
You want to be able to wear this during the warm summer days.
Please girls, don't wear those rediculous short dresses that you can see
half your bum!

Plain Black/or White tanktop
I prefer black, as it makes you look slimmer, and I feel great.
I love to layer with tanktops and other tops, to show a bit more colour.
So why only stop at white and black?
Go crazy =)

Jacket
Not too thick and not too thin.
You want to be able to wear this when there is a bit of wind, cold,
or when you feel like you want to wear one!
Be fashionable when picking this out,
because it will probably be your best friend during Winter!
I would spent up t0 $200AUS for the perfect jacket!

Makeup/Face Items

Moisturiser
An oil-free one with SPF is great!

Foundation
Take time finding your right colour, get a pro to help out.
Stay away from cheap foundations as they have a tendancy of caking up

Face Powder
Same as foundation, take time finding you colour and cheap ones will cake up.

Lip Balm
Protect those lips. I hate having chapped lips!
Lip balm with a nice tint is nice!

Makeup Remover
Let your pores breathe after a day of make up!
This will prevent clogged pores, pimples, blackheads, etc.

Shoes

Runners
a nice pair, white and clean, usually brand name.
Either nike, or sketchers, or any other nice ones.
Great with any pants!

Thongs
Any havanias! Love them!

Wedges
For long days/nights.
Great for shopping in, or work!

Black Classic High Heels
For those special nights out!

Boots
For winter, keep your calves and feet warm and coosy!

Accessories
Necklaces
Earrings
Rings
Belt
Scarves
All pretty much self explainatory!
